Learn the basic principles needed to use your own Joomla! website(s). This course is designed for anyone with basic computer skills who want to get a dynamic web site up and running fast. By the end of the day you will have started to use a Joomla! web site, be able to add content and understand how to plan a Joomla! powered website.

Day 2: Administrators (intermediate)
Learn the intermediate principles needed to administer your own Joomla! website(s). By the end of the day you will have installed, managed & extended a Joomla! website including an extended features such as a newsletter, members directory, discussion forum or a document repository.
The course will cover the following topics:
- How to find, select & install extensions
- How to fnd, select and install a suitable and safe multi-browser friendly template
- How to manage multi-media
- How to backup & restore your Joomla! website
- How to enable Search Engine Friendly URLs
- How to create and send email newsletters
- Selecting a hosting service provider
Day 3: Developers (advance)
Learn the advanced principles needed to develop your own Joomla! websites. By the end of the day you will have installed, created & extended your own Joomla! website including advanced, complex features such as a newsletter, members directory, discussion forum, document downloads and more.
The course will cover the following topics:
- How to set up a local development and testing platform using XAMPP
- How to install Joomla! onto a server incl. local & remote installations
- How to customize Joomla! templates incl. an actual customisation
- How to keep a site's Joomla core and extensions up-to-date
- How to Joomla security essentials
- How to handover a website to a client
- Joomla ecommerce - simple to complex
- Joomla and Search Engine Optiomisation
- Joomla and Social Media Marketing

These are the steps you should follow to get trained

- Step 2: We will send you an Estimate & the detailed Course Outlines
- Step 3: Pay for your seat in the Workshop upon invoice (at least one week prior to the session)
- Step 4: Upon receipt of payment we will share our Online Training Materials with you
- Step 5: Complete the Pre-training Orientation, to prepare you for the training
For Onsite Training only

- Step 6: We will send you venue information and direction before the workshop
- Step 7: Arrive at the workshop at 08h00 to allow time to setup internet / networks
For Online Training only
